CONVERTIBLE BONDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS ANALYST AND DATA ORGANIZER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The right candidate will be joining a team of two or three analysts in a key part of our core business of selling software to monitor, price and risk-manage convertible bonds. The responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the convertible bonds market: new issues, changes affecting existing convertible bonds (conversion ratios, dividend forecasts, floating coupons,…) using various tools and sources.
  • Maintaining a database of terms and conditions for convertible bonds. The database is global (Europe, US, Asia) and includes the location of users. The existing database comprises approximately 2000 CBs. The aim is to constantly update and add to it.
  • Reading and quickly deciphering the prospectus of convertible bonds. The prospectus is the most reliable source for the terms and conditions of convertible bonds.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A Masters degree or DESS
  • Very good proficiency in English
  • A wide range of skills including quantitative analysis, attention to detail, keen sense of organization, team work and the ability to clearly communicate and articulate ideas
  • Previous experience in this field is preferable, but not a requirement for the job
